New Mat Etiquette – Please read to help maintain respect, tradition, and discipline in the dojo, we’re introducing the following mat etiquette, effective immediately:
• Bow when you walk on and off the mat.
• Line up in rank order before class begins – this applies to kids and adults.
• Introduce yourself to the head coach and assistant coaches when you enter the mat.
• If you’re late to class, wait at the edge of the mat for the instructor to acknowledge and bow you on.
These changes will help us continue building a respectful and focused training environment for all. Thank you for your attention and ongoing commitment to growth – we look forward to seeing you all on grading day!
